The Lamborghini Countach was the dream car for many kids but even more interesting is the fact that this particular model of the Lambo had such a huge influence upon men – and prepubescent teens – that it went on to become a sex symbol in the poster arena. If you look way back into time – and if you’re old enough to remember – you’ll easily remember two things: Posters and in particular the one of Farrah Fawcett in a red bikini. LOL…at the time, Farrah Fawcett’s poster went on to sell millions of copies but her reign went short lived when Alpine Electronics introduced their poster of a Red Lamborghini Countach.

During that specific time, the car stereo market was dominated by Sony, Pioneer and Kenwood and when Alpine wanted to enter the market, they did so by creating the one poster that changed the game and gave all so many of us chubbies. LOL.
