Earlier today, I was waiting in line to pay for some stuff at Best Buy and I couldn’t help but become overly amused by the gentlemen in front of me. Now picture this, the guy was rocking Louis Vuitton shades, Louis Vuitton shoes, and rocking what appeared to be a diamond encrusted Audemars Piguet watch. So as the line moved forward at a snails pace, I was bored out of my mind so I listened in on his phone conversations (which was basically being broadcasted to everyone in line) and that’s when things got really interesting. In his first conversation, all he talked about was how he was “making moves” and “getting bitches” and “building his empire” and minutes later he said something that really caught my attention. Want handouts? Good luck. Nowadays, there’s way too many people that want hand outs and it’s a strange phenomenon that’s spreading faster than a gold diggers legs. It’s those same jaw jackers that seem to talk the most and produce the least and by now you’re probably thinking of acquaintances – and possibly even a few friends – that engage in this exact practice. The bottom line, you have to put in the work and take the steps necessary to achieve your goals and always remember that little footprints become big steps. Hang in there.
The internet has a flurry of information but a lack of original content.
Years ago there used to be only a handful of credible sources for information on niche markets and now you’ve got tons of “repeaters” that do nothing other than copy information and repost it. That said, journalism and writing has become a lost art and long gone are the days of spelling and grammar checks. Sure we all make mistakes but when you’ve got big ticket news agencies – with big budgets – putting out garbage and bad reporting it becomes as sad as it is entertaining. Just a random thought as I sit on this four hour conference call.
