Want some dim sum or great Chinese food? Then go to 888 Seafood in Rosemead, CA. Everything here is the bomb – with the exception of the parking – and it’s a definite must if you’re looking for Chinese food that easily out rivals anything in Beverly Hills or even Chinatown. Here’s a few photos that were snapped while spending some time with the family.
After yesterday’s meeting we sat in traffic and dropped by The Shop CC to see what they had in the works and let’s just say they’re keeping more than busy. They’ve got a few project cars in the work including a grand scale beast that’ll tip the scaled when it comes to luxury appointments and all that good stuff.
Lately the weather’s been as unruly as my latest deadlines so i decided to fire off a few random flicks while we were on the way.

With a week and four days to finish off two more issues – one of them being the Ultimate Wheel & Tire Guide – let’s just say that I’m running short on time and running long when it comes to my list of things to do. But even amidst the melee and chaos comes some even more interesting news when we hear from a couple of advertisers that a competitor – or at least so he thinks – is offering lower rates on our magazine? LOL…seriously…the entire staff had a riot laughing at this idiots overdose on confidence because really…..how do you get a better deal on a magazine that you have no association with? That would be like me saying I can offer you a better deal on Microsoft products than Bill Gates! What an idiot. OK….so moving on from that little charade (which I’m still in shock and baffled about) this week blew by in a blink of an eye.
I had a chance to catch up with our next feature who’s got plenty to show for but even more to say. You can definitely tell that his Jade game is heavy and one of my favorites has to be this carved out ship which is pictured below. But let’s move on to what counts….and that’s the food and good company because the restaurant he took us too was damn good and totally unexpected. The place only opens up from 7am to 5pm but the food is simply no joke. The sad thing is I forget the name but I got the pics and I’ll be sure to update you with all the information again when I go back next week.

Here’s a few flicks from the Seibon Charity Toy Drive that went down in the City of Industry. A special thanks goes out to Sean Lee and Mikey for the invite and as always we gotta give it up to all the friends and family that came out to the event in support. A good amount of cars made an appearance and while it wasn’t the biggest show we’ve been to we can definitely say that the quality of cars that showed up were the business.
