The Shop CC Impala x Bound By Ink

Last week Mfest and Top Stitch held a charity poker night and the mission was to have a some fun while collecting blankets and donations for the less fortunate. In all, the pre-Christmas get together had a great turn out and attendees were treated to a smokin’ BBQ as well as fine spirits. Now don’t get it twisted, when I say a smokin’ BBQ I’m talking about some high-quality cuts from Tom – who happens to own one of the biggest meat distribution plants in So Cal. Definitely good times for a great cause. Here’s a few flicks from the iPhone and I’ll have the rest up in short bit.

At first glance I didn’t know if that was Benjo bringing back the hi-top fade or if it was Bruno Mars.
That same evening we saw Rendell drinkin’ up a storm of Patron and shortly after that we found out that Benjo borrows her clothes. Tsk tsk tsk…..shame on you Benjo. Ha.

Anthony rolled through with his new weave and damn did it look funky….and a bit lopsided.

…..after this charade I learned about “jeggings” and all kinds of interesting guy stuff. Ha….wow.

MOE: Money Over Everything

Awwww…..Moe with a lil teddy bear that his homie Jon Boules gave him for Xmas. LMFAO.

You gotta love a woman who puts a picture of herself on her phone. ROFL.

Skillz.
Why bullshit? The lack of updates has been a direct result of me taking a break to spend time with the family while catching up on two new mags that we’re dropping soon. Add to the equation a constant supply of food comas from Holiday feasts then you already know it’s game over. The bottom line….I’ve been lazy but I’m back and thankful for everything I have and as we get ready to close off another year I hope you can say the same. On the reals, we all have to take some time to chill, contemplate our next moves and above everything else make sure that you’re doing anything you can to stay healthy and happy. It’s also a good time to reflect at what you’ve really got vs. what you really want. Sometimes we get caught up “wanting” things that arent really that necessary but it’s not always a bad thing. If these “non-essential goods” pushes you to work harder then it’s a great motivating tool but if it’s leaving you flustered and miserable than maybe you need to check yourself and get back to the basics.

Over the Holidays I had a chance to catch up with an old school homie from way back and it’s good to see that he’s still handling his business and keeping it real. Nowadays, too many people are stuck with trying to fit in – instead of getting it in – and seriously, my boy could easily buy a few lambos but he keeps it real with the lowrider game. From full blown show pieces to full classic restorations he’s got more than a few, and even more impressive is that he does big business overseas and keeps it real in “Suit & Tie” meetings with an LA fitted cap, jeans and a pair of fresh kicks. Once again….it just goes to show you that you shouldn’t judge a book by it’s cover and I’ll have more on his full success story in an upcoming issue because there’s lots to learn from him. On another note….I hope everyone had a safe and Merry Xmas and hopefully you gave out more than just the flu and fruit cake. Ha. I’ve got a ton of pics to post so stay posted.

This is the second Wald Black Bison Maserati kit to be sold in North America and once this bad boy is all wrapped up it’s definitely going to break necks. Stay tuned for more updates on this 2012 CES build.

Laid out on CKS Suspension and waiting on some new rollers from Renown Wheels.

At the other end of the shop was George’s Porsche Turbo. He just had LED lights integrated into his Tech Art bumper and next up is going to be his vintage Ferrari that’s getting the full resto.

(AP) A Utah man who won a $380,000 Lamborghini in a convenience store chain’s contest crashed the sports car six hours after he got it.
The lime green Murcielago Roadster was set to leave for a Las Vegas body shop Wednesday for repairs, just days after Santaquin resident David Dopp won it in Maverik stores’ “Joe Schmo to Lambo” contest.
“Yeah, I got it on Saturday and I wrecked it on Saturday,” Dopp told KSL-TV.
