post HEAVY HITTERS MAGAZINE.

What is Heavy Hitters Magazine all about?

It comes as no surprise that celebrities own expensive cars. Their income, for the most part, is public knowledge, and seeing Shaq in a Rolls Royce Phantom or Kobe in a Lamborghini wouldn’t necessarily take any one of us by surprise.

But what about the unrecognizable faces behind the Ferrari or Rolls Royce Phantom that you always see. Haven’t you ever wondered exactly what they do? Or what they could teach you? Wouldn’t you want to sit down with them for a day just to get into their minds and ask them what worlds of wisdom or advice they could offer about cars, life, success or money? Well…that’s what you’ll find in Heavy Hitters Magazine.

In its simplest form, Heavy Hitters Magazine chronicles the lifestyles of the rich and not so famous.

Whereas a gamut of publications focus on the excess of celebrities – Heavy Hitters prides itself in being the only publication on newsstands to set itself apart by focusing on the success of “everyday” folks like you and I. The magazine also captures and captivates a lifestyle that is limited only by their ability to spend, and covers the entire lifestyle which includes the cars, the homes, the jewelry and the pets.

Real people. Real stories. Real success.

Do you guys have an official website?

Sorry. Nothing official yet but you can always reach us HERE

heavyhitters.gif

Do you feature celebrities?

Sure we might feature a celebrity here and there, but in our magazine the car must qualify the star and not vice versa. At Heavy Hitters we’re also concerned with the quality of the customized vehicle in hand and most importantly the celebrity must own their own vehicles. So if you do see a celebrity in our magazine than you already know that he’s got his car game on lock.

yo.jpg

How come you don’t list the specs of the vehicles or have more shots of the engine or interior?

In order to save more room for good content, we’ve alleviated any shots or editorial that could easily be found on the internet. Again, we pride ourselves in offering unique and original content and feel that interior shots, engine shots or complete vehicle specs are readily available on the internet and best left there for you consumption.

If I own 13 high end cars with great aftermarket products and have the personality of a day old cupcake, can I still get in the magazine?

Absolutely not. What can our readers learn from a day old cupcake? As we mentioned before, Heavy Hitters Magazine is the only publication that offers unique and original content that you won’t find on the internet. Remember….the man makes the car, the car does not make the man and if anything – and if you get lucky – we might just give you a page or two.

  1. Crazy sick magazine. I enjoyed it a bit. It is great to see that hustle and grind pays off. You do not have to be luck or have an MBA from Harvard to make it big, just a plan and dedication. Hopefully I can be featured in the magazine soon.

  3. I really appreciate what you guys are doing. I was browsing through the mag section and I was looking at all the other mags, like smae ole same, but the line that got me to get yours was, “lifestyles of the rich and not so famous.” Picked up vol 3 and read it from cover to cover. I must say, I really like what you are doing and what you promote. You don’t have to be famous to live the life you want to live, and you shouldn’t wait on it either. I am into some endeavors of my own right now, and could would only be honored to be featured in your mag in the future. till then, i’m out here grinding, later.

  4. Saw your magazine for the first time this weekend. Definitely inspiring. It effectively got me out of my entrepreneurial rut after reading the article/interview on Skin Clothing. Time to start grinding things out again.

  23. I brought every issue of Heavy Hitters since it been in print. I gotta say at first I thought it was about rich people just showing off there wealth. But after reading, I was impressed by that most are just “average” joes, some never finished college or in some cases school.I grown up hearing that wealth is only resevered for the major rule. I’m also glad see minorities in your magazines. I think it shows the face of wealth knows no color or background. As I continue my road to be doctor, I hope one daysay I’ll be able to be a feature in your mag. Keep the great articles coming and I was wondering if I can get one of those heavy hitters shirts? They’re hard hitting!

  26. Heavy Hitters:

I would like to say, you guys have a great magazine, its inspirational and it also motivates me to have a car like that. I’m average, but I’m proud to see others like me, who made an effort to aquire what they have. props! keep doing what your doing.

    God bless your staff,
now you got ghetto children thinking that success has no Limit!

  27. When I first picked the magazine up I thought it was another flashy, trashy type of MTV Cribs kind of thing in written form. Reading the articles about the people and how they’ve overcome obstacles and worked hard to get where they are made me realize you are doing something much, much better. Thanks for doing this, finally something I can pass on to my 18 year old son that shows what hard work and desire can accomplish. Great magazine – as soon as I figure out how to subscribe, I’m in.

    Cheers,
    John

  28. I have been reading HH since the launch, and I love it. I like the mix of cars and lifestyle. Not too boring, not too gangster.

I have been a car nut for a long time (I drive a DeTomaso Pantera GT5 and Porsche 996 C2) and it is your mag that made me decide to take my occupation (designer) and mix it with my hobbie (cars). I read the story on Al Borda and decided I would take the chance. While I was working on the designs, you published the article on Christian Audigier. AWESOME. Now I am ready to launch five t-shirt designs for auto enthusiast, have several more designs in the wings, and have started working on button-ups and polos.

Your were the spark that got the ball rolling (or maybe “it is all your fault” is a better description, heh). THANKS!!

    Comment by David m — December 21, 2008 @ 7:26 am

  30. i picked up issue 7 at an AAFES store here on ft hood in TX. i have always aspired to do great things in life, and my goal has always been to be successful enough to one day own a lambo gallardo. i know that doesnt sound too far out of reach for most, but i havnt had a rich life. i am going to iraq january 30th and if i come back i am going to invest my time and money into property. i am just downright glad to see a car magazine that focuses on the person and story behind it instead of typical car mags people just look at for the pics. my dad always used to say “work hard, make lots of money,” but my dreams seemed so far away until now. now they are relevant. i will subscribe to HH in baghdad! 1st CAV!

  37. what up HH,
your mag is inspiring. ever since high school began i’ve been doing worse and worse in school. not that school’s bad, just i started falling into the wrong habbits. i had big dreams of being my own boss and doing my own thing with my cloths line, just being succeccful.
one day i saw your mag at some gas station and picked it up( like issue two i think) and ever since then i’ve been picking them up since. its showed me that you are in control of your life. basicly, you can make what ever you want to happen, you just have to have the right mind set and surround yourself with the right people.
after a few issues, i started to try harded and better in school, and drop all the negative things around me. i never thought i’d have a 3.8gpa in school. i’m a junior and saving money to start my own business. i got a few buddies of mine who are down for the business. your mag keeps me motivated and my head in the right place. thanks guys. hopefully one day i’ll be in there haha.
thanks and please keep it up,

  40. Just wanted to say GOOD JOB!!! The first HH magazine that I bought was issue #2 and man I was so energized and motivated from the stories I read. I even went on ebay and bought issue #1 and since then I’ve copped every HH issue that came out. Most of the other automotive lifestyle mags out there are boring as hell. Seriously if you seen one celebrity’s cars you seen them all and on top of that they were most likely leased or borrowed lol. So shout out to the realest magazine in the game! Cheers ;-)

There are numrous errors in your articles that I find very annoying. Either the proofreader or type setter are not catching the mistakes.
