I snapped this picture of a letter that Bruce Lee composed back in 1969 and it needs no explanation. It’s simply powerful.
At the time of him composing this letter, he was around 28 years old and nothing short of “minor” television star. At that specific time, he already had two children, no financial security and even worse was the fact that he had just been turned down by Warner Brothers for a role which they said he looked too “Oriental” for. So instead of shedding a tear or sulking in depression, Bruce put together a letter which he called, “My Definite Chief Aim.” Once read, its simple to see that he had jotted down his goals and aspirations and although his life was cut short four years after writing this letter, it’s safe to say that he would have easily accomplished his goals within time.
