A few years back Room 101 hit the market with their very own line of cigars and they’re back at it again with their latest release which is called OSOK Room 101 LTD. The launch of these new cigars pays tribute to his photographer – and the fellow homie Edgar Hoill- and the brand derives its namesake from Edgar’s moniker OSOK…which stands for One Shot One Kill. If you’re lucky enough to pick up a box (or two, or three) then you’ll come to appreciate the cigars for their distinct quality and attention to detail. With that said, it comes as no surprise that production for the entire OSOK line is being produced and assigned to only one man.
Simply put, the OSOK Room 101 LTD cigar box is epic. This collectible piece of art is hand crafted and includes artwork created by yet another homie Chuey Quintanar. Now if his name sounds foreign to you then get familiar because those in touch with the ruling elite of the tattoo industry already know that Chuey is a force to reckon with. With that said, this joint collaboration speaks volumes not only about the members involved but the masterminds behind the brand. As visionaries, they were wise enough to entrust a brand to those who weren’t necessarily “industry” figures in the world of smoke and it’s all about to pay off. Congrats to Matt, Edgar and Chuey on a ground breaking launch.
Each cigar is wrapped in two layers and its theme mimics that of Mexican candy. From the bands, the box to the paper wrappers, the OSOK brand is becoming a big deal in the world of cigars and their approach to packaging and the blends used is a breath of fresh air.
OSOK cigars come in three sizes which includes the Filero, Trucha and Chingon – My favorite being the Filero.
