So we’re out in Frisco and I’m stopping by Rite Aid to get a lot of anti-bacterial lotion because today there’s gonna be a lot of haters shakin’ our hands. LMFAO….on the reals though the show is looking good, and we’re gonna have a blast. I’m still trying to get WordPress on my phone hooked up so I can start posting mobile – and more frequently – so in the mean time hang tight. I’ve also been updating the HH Twitter account more and I threw up a post a few days ago that a lot of people seemed to like. It was a weird and random thought that I decided to post up so here it is again,
“Naysayers talk ’cause they don’t have the balls, the network, or the talent to do what you do so stay focused, grind and get it in.”
Screens for the new shirt that’s dropping.
How’s that for a burrito? 15 pounds of pure delight. LOL.
New interior panels for the Mc Laren SLR.
Interior makeovers are getting more and more popular and if you’re serious about flipping the script on your ride then you already know where to go. Top Stitch Upholstery has been a the forefront of some of the craziest and cleanest interiors in the industry and right now they’ve got about a dozen projects in the works right now. I shot by the shop earlier and right now he’s got a waiting list that runs about a month and a half long but he’s definitely worth the wait. By now you should already know that good work ain’t cheap and cheap work ain’t good so here’s a few flicks from this morning. Enjoy and always trust members of the inner circle.
Ever wonder where the exhaust is on the Mc Laren SLR? Well…here it is.
OK…been slammed finalizing the last minute details on the new project, got three shoots knocked out in the past two days and have some big editorial surprises for HH so sorry for the lack of updates. I’m actually trying to get my Blackberry hooked up so I can upload and update the site on the fly but I’m no computer genius so I’m sure it’ll take me a bit till that gets done. LOL. The first copy of The 2010 Ultimate Wheel & Tire Guide came in yesterday and it’s looking good with the exception of one huge fuck up that I’m sure many of you will catch. It’s a big fuck up but nonetheless it doesn’t compromise the integrity of the content or the magazine. The 2010 Ultimate Wheel & Tire Guide hits newsstands in the next few weeks so be sure to grab your copy.
On the flip side we’re getting ready for this San Francisco trip to hit up Ernesto JR’s 2010 Wekfest in JapanTown so if you’re in or around then be sure to stop by. We got a lot of the L.A. homies rollin’ up as well as a few of the Frisco heads that’ll be repping so come through and say hi. Other than it’s just another day on the grind and today I’m running around town to take care of a few errands before we take off. We’ll see you all up in Frisco so drive safe!
Don’t known if this was themed after a coffin but it sure does look like one. This custom tool box/ storage den is the back of Bobby Tribal’s pick up and the shit is clean as fuck and definitely OG with the silver pieces and leather straps. The entire unit including side moldings are made out of wood. Sick! Just wait till it’s done because this bad boy’ll be sporting a complete Top Stitch interior as well. This ain’t a game homie……this ain’t a game! LOL.
Powerd by a pair of revolutionary twin-turbocharged 552 ci, 1350 HP Mercury Racing engines, the 46′ Cigarette is estimated to have a top speed in excess of 130 MPH.
The new Cigarette 46′ Rider features hand-applied AMG ALUBEAM silver paintwork also available on the SLS AMG. This process, used exclusively by AMG, covers body surfaces like a metallic skin, targeting light reflections to further emphasize exterior character lines and design details. Showcasing the state of the art nanotechnology, this unique finish imbeds tiny pigments of color measuring just 30 to 50 nanometres. The ALUBEAM silver is contrasted with AMG Designo Mystic White metallic in a bold design echoing the Mercedes-AMG logo. Inside, the boat features marine-grade upholstery that resembles the two-tone AMG Designo porcelain and white Nappa leather offered on the SLS AMG.

I thought the pain would be over today but I guess not. I’ve got a few more things to finalize by the morning (which is just a few hours away) but I’m still charged up because of today’s meeting and brainstorming session. Seriously…this shit ain’t a game and today’s little round table was good! I’m excited for this new title to drop because once it does it’ll be game over and worth all the BS and all nighters that a lot of people had to deal with so stay tuned for more updates. On another note, I got an email from a friend who saw this link and it looks like we’ve got another fan of the mag. It’s good to see that we’re reaching a new audience and it’s further proof that Heavy Hitters was built for a smarter audience who’s looking for more out of life. Thanks for the positive feedback Mr. Byrne.

Ok…so it’s back to the grind and I apologize for all the lagging but don’t trip….because I’m getting back on track. So Nabil….get to knockin’ on the Palace doors (LOL) and Archie I’ll catch up with you in a quick minute. I’ve got photos to ftp, a meeting with a few of the homies from Japan, and then it’s off to pick up a special delivery and then off to Calabasas.
Right now I’m having a major brain fart so I’m jumping on the blog to do a quick update. I don’t know why updating this blog has become the necessary mental break that I need to reset but it works so I’ll continue. OK so where do I start? I’m moving a million miles an hour and when I’ve got a goal or deadlines to meet I’ll do whatever it takes to get the shit done. It’s during times like this that I get a major case of tunnel vision and from there my calls get cut in half and so does my sleep. I don’t let anything take my eyes off the target and simply put, “I don’t let shit get in my way.” As of now, I have one last deadline to to deal with and once that’s done I’ve got a ton of calls to return, emails to answer, packages to mail and letters to write (Sorry Nabil…I’ll get that to you in a few hours). This week, I was supposed to be in Vegas for the Magic Show and that’s not gonna happen for shit and while some may call this chaotic reaction to stress a bad thing, I consider it a necessary evil. The truth is….if you’re assigned a task to complete then you should be happy that someone actually trusts you – so put your best foot forward. Especially during todays turbulent times, people are hungrier and there’s more compeition, so if you’re busy then you’re blessed. Too many people complain that they’re inundated with work but you have to look at the big picture and come to understand that it’s a good thing. It’s a good thing to know that someone thinks highly enough of you to trust you with their time – which is essentially their money - and on top of that it’s pretty much job security. So be happy that you’re busy and if you’re looking for more free time then go ahead and fuck up…..and trust me soon enough you’ll have all the free time in the world. LOL. So stop whining and remember that, “Losers concentrate on what they’re going through and winners concentrate on where they’re going to.”
Right now they don’t really make a 3D camera that’s anywhere close to affordable so riggin’ one together is the next best thing. These two cameras are synced together and you’ll get to see the footage in 3D really soon. Well…at least you’ll get to see it in 2D unless you’ve got one of the newer 3D capable screens/ monitors.
Over the weekend a small private excursion was coordinated by South Bay Autohaus & Mfest. The last minute deal was thrown together and all I gotta say is that the shit was sick. I really thought the event twas going to be just orite but I was so f*ckin’ wrong. This was definitely the business – even with all the problems. LOL.
More hp than a Bugatti Veyron? Yup. This thing is no joke and don’t let it’s conservative appearance fool you.
Remember….don’t start cookin’ till you get up in the kitchen. LOL.
…more to come later. Got some stories to write, photos to edit but things are wrappin’ up nicely.
