I didn’t know what to think or say when I saw this video but I will tell you that his confidince is inspiring – and a bit disturbing at the same time. So now that I’ve got you all fucked up and disturbed….have a Happy New Year! And dance your ass off tonight because if this guy can then you ain’t got no excuse!

FlatBMW

The San Diego International Auto Show is in full swing so be sure to stop by and check out the display. We’ve got an assortment of cars from VF Engineering, HPF, SouthBayAutohaus and Republic779 and as promised we’re coming strong for 2010. A special thanks goes out to everyone that helped out including Jay, Chris and Kim (M-fest), Jasko, Mark, Rich (Fr3SH) as well as Troy from Group 5.  Here’s a few snaps….more to come later.

Jay’s Premier 4509 Aston Martin AMV8 was on deck and definitely a show favorite….and the ladies…oh they love the Chanel-inspired interior. LOL. (more…)

At 226-feet, this is one of  the biggest yachts in the world (actually ranked within the top 20) and not only does it have a chopper up on the top deck but also a spare boat inside of the front of the hull – At the touch of a button the “spare support boat” can slide out of a pop out deck from the side and then be dropped into the water though a crane system.   Damn! Who’s the boss now?!

DSC09581

At a cost of roughly 50 million dollars to buy and repair (it once had fire damage), this shit is no joke and to be honest this is billionaire money we’re talking here. Aside from owning this yacht, and another (which was once Boeing’s corporate yacht) he also owns a  collection other large scale toys, property all over the world, international businesses, a copper mine and that’s not even a short list of his portfolio….actually it’s probably just .001 percent of what he’s got. Sick.

As the homie Archie would say…..this shit is….”for real…for real.”

Just got back in from an overnight trip and now it’s off to Diego to setup shop for the URE which is held inside the San Diego International Auto Show. The SD Auto Show is the largest 5-day auto show in the nation and places second when it comes to traffic for any auto show in California. It’s going to be good so be sure to stop by the booth if you’re in or around town….it all starts tomorrow

Knick_Jiminez

The 2010 goldRushRally is coming soon.

Two of our former features Knick Jiminez (L4P) and Ben Abrams (NWAS) are out in Bora Bora but don’t think it’s all for fun and  games. The fellas are posted in the French Polynesia to get some much needed R&R but they’re also turning their 5-star huts into think pods for a new venture that they’re working on. Of course, they had to bring some good reading material so what better than a few issues of Heavy Hitters Magazine. Thanks for the pic Knick and have fun out there!! This is just further proof that our features live the lifestyles they portray and nothings staged. Real money. Real success. Real perseverance. Real people.

Fancy copy

I’ve always been a fan of the first-generation BMW 6-Series (E24) and if you’ve got  one as clean as the one pictured here then it’s a definite keepsake. It was the car to floss back in the 70′s and 80′s and the lines of the car are timeless. To say that its styling is bold would be a definite understatement and for BMW, it the first generation 6-Series (and even the 8-Series) that did what the GT350 Mustang did for Ford – and that’s provide BMW with a flagship car that’ll remain in the history books for a long, long time.

toolow-

The BBS Super RS wheels on this 6-Series are the perfect wheel of choice for this body style and the ride height and fitment is dead on the money. Long story short…..this thing is sa-weeeet!

Christmas Tree lane in Pasadena.

With Christmas just a few hours away I want to wish everyone a Merry Xmas! It’s quite obviously that time of the year best spent with friends and family and I’m pretty sure that we’ve all got a lot to be thankful for so have a good one and be safe out there. I also want to thank everyone for their friendships (both old and new)  and for all of the continued support because this year has  been more than memorable. This year also marks the beginning of some great friendships and the continued growth of others and with New Years right around the corner I can’t wait to get things kicked off and started. Here’s a few flicks for now….

Kershaw_blade

One of the big homies laced with this new blade and it’s sick! It’s called the Leek…go figure….and the blade is made of two composite steels with a copper accent separator. How it was put together is beyond me but it’s a bad ass.

Kershaw Knife

Check the details on the blade. Bad ass! Thanks again!

Lastnight my sister and I took my mom out to eat at Lawry’s Carvery @ LA Live and to say it was cold was an understatement. But after stuffing my face and increasing my body temperature by an easy 10 degrees I was good and after the meal we surprised her with tickets to The Monster Ball: Lady Gaga Tour. Now let me make this clear….my sister and my mom went to Lady Gaga…..LOL….I don’t need rumors going around that I was prancing around in a Lady Gay Gay tee. LMFAO.

Gemballa_Enzo

The Gemballa MIG-U1 Ferrari Enzo

Built for brothers, Illyas and Mustafa Galadari – Gemballa’s Middle East distributors – this Ferrari Enzo has some applauding and others in pure outrage. This is actually Gemballas first stab at the Enzo – let alone a car in the Ferrari lineage – and the end result is one that is both interesting and thought provoking. Known primarily for their expertise in tuning Porsche vehicles, some may remember Gemballa from way back for projects like the Gemballa Avalanche and Cyrrus – that is if you’re old enough to remember – and while they’ve laid low pretty low for the last decade (when comapred to the hype they had in the 80′s), this latest relese has the net going wild for more. Jason Thorgalsen

Jason snapped a flick of this new Lamborghini 560-4 with new equipment he just picked up and the results were damn good. If you’ve been following our magazine then you’re probably no stranger to his work so be on the lookout for this young gun with an itchy trigger finger.

Rumor has it that VF Engineering is going out of business and during a visit last to their facilities last week, Nick confirmed that the rumor was true. He told me that he WAS going out of business and said [laughing], “I go out of business every night to go home and relax and then I go back into business every morning. “. LMFAO. With that said, Nick confirmed that the rumors were FALSE and then gave us a tour of his latest project to be completed – a supercharger for the Audi R8.

VF Supercharged Audi R8

Here’s VF Engineerings latest completed project which is a  supercharged Audi R8 sporting a set of very pricey Dymag wheels with carbon-kevlar lips. I’m kind of brain dead from the weekend and forgot all the specs but I will say that the car definitely performs well and drives like a dream.   (more…)

Went out to Aria Hotel and Casino and all I have to say is that shit is overrated- big time! Except for the LV store…which is ridiculous.  From the outside, the Aria looks grand and stunning but once you get in, it’s actually pretty bland and anti-climactic. There are however some dope ass photo opps if you do go there (and like to shoot pics) but other than it’s it’s just orite so if you’re looking to go then save yourself the time and stick with places like Wynn, The Palazzo, MGM or Casears Palace.   (more…)

WTF? This BMW X6 got the full Hamann Tycoon  treament with less that 2 miles on the clock! I remember when people used to drive their cars and break them in but now it seems like no ones playing games. I guess this is how the big dogs get down to business. LOL. Thanks for the pic Mohammad.

The rear of this X6 sports a set of 23-inch Hamann Race Edition wheels that are massaged onto a  set of pavement hungry 315/25/23′s.

Check out this 2010 BMW X6 that’s fitted with the full Hamann Tycoon kit mated to a set of 23-inch Hamann “Design Edition Race” wheels. The car is owned by one of Mohammads buddies and it was built by Hamann Dubai. It features blacked out accents as well as lips that are color matched to the body color. The use of  blacked out centers offers a grim and menacing look to this once docile SUV and it’s definitely a good look for those who want to stand out.  If you want the full body kit with wheels and exhaust it retails for $42,150!!! So remember kids….it costs to be the boss. Who’s steppin’ up?! LOL.  (more…)
