What other dog do you know gets to floss in a Drophead? That’s one lucky ass dog.

I’ve got an archive of pics that were never run in the mag so here’s a few and I’ll post some more up as I run across ‘em.  2010 is right around the corner and now is the time to turn  up the heat and stay on the grind.  Stay hungry and align yourselves with like-minded soldiers.

JamesChenPool

Here’s a shot of James’ pool that wasn’t published in the mag. Why it wasn’t featured beats me but it’s a beautiful pool and landscape that can’t be beat.

I don’t know what’s better…the commentary of the videographer  or the fact that he though this was a Lambo. LMFAO.

Theraflu

I’m off to a meeting/ phone conference for some new projects and I’m walking in this meeting powered by Theraflu. It sucks when you’re running at half a charge but sometimes you gotta run with the ball and go for it. After this it’s off to more meetings and then time to see the eye doctor. My vision is shot and running hazy like some fogged headlights and cheap China bulbs. More pics later and I’ll get back to everyone after this short intermission.

On Saturday night we shot out to Downtown Art Walk in Pomona to check out a new gallery by Chuey Quintanar. The new spot, which was assembled by Chuey and a few partners was a trip to see and pretty damn nice. With a few lowriders parked outside and a good vibe inside it was a pleasant surprise and to be honest I didn’t even know Pomona had an art district. As always it was good to link up with old friends and to see that a lot of them are making moves and shaking the town up. If you’re in or around town be sure to scope them out at:

1963 Impala Wagon. Nice & Clean

I’m late  on posting up pics on this event but between my eyes bugging out (probably from too much computer use) , massive deadlines and all kinds of other nonsense (including being sick for a few days) it doesn’t leave much time to update. I’ve got a lot of phone calls to return, emails to answer and I’ll get around to all of it shortly.  (more…)

David’s GT40 with the MKI Gulf color scheme.

This mornings social run was more than just fun and filled with plenty of canyon carving and adrenaline packed sprints. With a pack of roughly 15 invited guests (which was organized by Chris/ M-fest and Kevin), this meet took place somewhere far from the streets of Los Angeles and on a deserted strip of baron land making it a safe launching pad for organized sprints and relay runs.

Greg in his BMW M5

The best part of the meet was that it was drama free and void of the egos and bullshit you’d come to expect when you mix a gob of horsepower and high-priced cars. In short, everyone was there  in pure camaraderie and it was pretty amazing how fast we covered close to 300 miles – and that was once we got to the spot…and not including the drive down.

Got deadlines to meet so I’ll have more photos up tomorrow. Thanks again…..good times.

Lack of updates? F*ck yeah. Lack of sleep? Yeah…for sure. Sorry for sleeping on the site but I’ve been slammed with shoots, deadlines, layouts and meetings for the past two days and I’m moving faster than I ever have. My bodies probably made up purely of 5-hour energy drink and coffee but but I’m excited because everything’s starting to materialize and take shape. Today, I’ve got one shoot over in Compton, another going down in Malibu but I’m glad to be busy and to be honest, 2009 was a great year, but 2010 is going to be better because we’re going all in and coming hard.

Matteblackferrari

I remember a conversation I had with the homie Twin about a week back and I can’t forget when he said, “In 2009 my car came in at a 9 but in 2010 I’m bringing that bitch back as a 10.” With that said, I’m going to have to take his line but apply it as a rule of thumb for life. Like I said earlier, ’09 was good but 2010 is going to be ridiculous. This year we’re coming back with a different strategy, more strategic partners that are hungry and next year is going to be a high-speed blast for many of us. Speaking of high-speed, this weekend, we just got invited to attend a private high-speed run that’s going down in Mexico so be sure to look for coverage of this event in a future issue. As mentioned earlier, 2010 is going to be silly and everythings already well under way.

Jame’s rolled hrough the spot in his laid out CLK.

I’m finally back up an running at a 100 percent and today’s studio session went beyond well. Today we made a full use of the day finishing off all the scheduled cars as well as a few miscellaneous – but necessary shoots. To top it off, a gang of the homies also rolled through the spot to kick it and show support and as always it was nothing but good times and funny ass conversation. From talking shit about the funny ass characters that we have to live and work with,  to talking about the haters (a brohhh!) and ego maniacs who fake the funk,  it was all in fun  and great comedy at the expense of others. LMFAO.

Started the morning off at the studio shooting for HH as well as a new project and we’ve got some good shit coming soon. The Premier 4509 AMV8 is a wrap and we also shot a few of the sickest bimmers in the scene as well. More updates later and look for full coverage in an upcoming issue. With more than enough deadlines it’s always good to see everyone come out of the woodwork so fuck a deadline….cause I’ll always meet ‘em. LOL.

Lobby

Forum Tower Lobby.

If the lobby of you’re hotel room looks like this then you already know that it’s gonna be a problem. LOL. For reals. I’ve seen some pretty big suites and penthouses but this one had to take the cake because of its old school flavor, design and view.

Fitment on this bad boy is dead on.

Sorry for the lack of updates but my legs are beat and my mind fried so I needed some time to recuperate but I’m back up on it and running about at about 80 percent. A few people emailed me wanting to see pics of the M-Fest x Interad collabo wheel so here’s the few shots that I had.

DSC08419

Pictures do this wheel no justice and I don’t have a close up of the machined M-fest logo that’s on the spoke but it does look good. Check M-fest for more information and pics of this wheel.

I don’t remember much from last night but I do know that we had a blast. The first stop off was the Kicker party over at the Palms, then about an hour later we hit up the Gran Turismo Sony Playstation party and then jumped off to the Lexani shindig over at the Hard Rock. Now that I think about it I even did a quick stop off at Wasted Space and then called it a night…or a morning. I didn’t take too many pictures and out of the ones I did only a handful came out while the rest for some odd and inebriated reason came out really, really blurry. LOL.

DSC08368

Every year Kicker parties always feature extreme motorcross stunts but this year it was pretty dope to see remote control cars jumping the same ramps. Too bad my camera couldnt capture ‘em.

DSC08376

The Sony Playstation GranTurismo party was packed but no matter how live the parties are most of them are  a BYOB (Bring Your Own Bitches) type of get together. Then again, most SEMA parties pack more sausage then Oscar Meyer but you make the best of it.

DSC08379

Ran into a few friends over at the Sony joint but in this photo I was too shit faced (which is why i blurred it out) while the other shots were way too blurry. LOL.

DSC08380

After the Sony party we threw back a few slices of pizza to help soak the poison and then we were off to the Hard Rock. On the way out we ran into some of the homies from France.

Hennesy3FS

I got this dope ass bottle of Hennessy from the homies Vadim and Mike and I was blown away. I wasn’t expecting the gift and it was a total surprise so thanks again. The bottle is huge, and the holder/ dispenser is retarded sick! With that said, let the partying begin because I also got a gift from Kim that’ll come in handy. LMFAO.
