Having a set amount of pages in a magazine only gives you so much creative freedom to run the pictures you want (and the sizes you want them to be) and once coupled with text – which we’re pretty heavy 0n – it leaves even less options so here’s a few flicks that would’ve been great to run – or run bigger.
I’ve never really been a big fan of the Nissan Maxima but after seeing this one laid out on 20′s I can tell you otherwise. This is Dean’s car from up North and I passed by the shop over the weekend to check it out and had to snap a few flicks.
No bags, no cup kit…straight coil over….and no rubbing – except for the sideskirts over speed bumps. LOL. Kennedy from Platinum VIP did all the fitment and fender work and it’s running natural camber.
Doesn’t get flusher than this folks…..
Was out in San Diego over the weekend to celebrate Jasko’s birthday party and with our luck we hit major traffic on the 5 South and ended up standing outside on the fwy for about 30 minutes before things cleared up.
Saw this on Jasko’s desk and had to shoot a pic.

There’s nothing better than sitting on the shitter and reading an issue of Heavy Hitters magazine…(read the rest here)

Produced out of high-strength polyurethane (PU-RIM) and Prepreg-Autoclav-Carbon, the new Mansory body kit for the Porsche Panamera is what you would have come to expect from MANSORY.
As the car is lowered by 35 millimetres and equipped with new wheels measuring in at 21×9.5-inches up front and 21×11.5-inches out back, the new bold new look this body kit/ wheel combo offers makes you think twice about NOT wanting a new Panamera. (more…)

Tattoo’s are out of control and just like art, they’re a form of personal expression that says a lot about those marked. For some, it’s a disillusioned mistake created by liquid courage but for most a personal decision to represent spirituality, artistic creativity or their inner beliefs.
You can tell a lot about a person based on their ink and if you knew the life story of the homie picture above then you’d definitely understand it’s true meaning and value.

If you missed out on the 2009 Def Jam Hip Hop Honors Show honoring Def Jam Records, then you missed out on some pretty good stuff. In particular, an interview with the former President of Def Jam, Lyor Cohen. During the interview he took a jab at Death Row and Bad Boy and here’s what he had to say…..
“When I was signing one rapper after the next, I was so desperate that I kept flaring my hands and dying faster and I asked, ‘How am I going to survive?’ It was just a logo, it was there in front of me the whole time, it brought the company together,” Cohen explained. “And I said to [my staff], ‘I want you think about it like this. We wanna be the Aamco of this. Artists, labels, they come in for a transmission job. We’re gonna get underneath the car, we’re gonna have our work suit on, drop the transmission and get them out happy and service them. Now, you think Death Row with their big swollen muscles can squeeze underneath that car? Or you think that Bad Boy with their shiny Versace suits are gonna rescue this vehicle? …From now on, everything you do, you do it for the logo.”
Classic shit.

Check out Brandon’s (Interad Wheels) 26″ O.M. Flyer by SE Racing. It used to have a maroon frame and fork with gold anodized parts but now it’s been powder coated candy blue and polished with all billet parts.

From back in the days. LOL….DRAG Turbo Civic.
Seriously…the entire BMX craze is getting out of hand and it’s actually been going strong for quite some time but now it’s hitting close to home as a lot of close friends are either rebuilding their old school Hondas and/ or BMX bikes. The best one is when Rudy brought up wanting to get an Evil Knievel bike again? WTF?!!! LOL.

Kevin’s AE86 reppin’. Sick.
I’ve always been a fan of old school cars but the Corolla holds a special place in time probably because I always wanted one….but couldn’t get it. I guess the same holds true for BMX bikes like the PK Ripper or the Haro….or a Diamond Back! Then again, life would be pretty boring for most of us if we could have everything we wanted.
The next issue of Heavy Hitters Magazine drops in a few weeks so be on the lookout. In this issue we’ve got plenty of that good content that moves, inspires and motivates so be sure to pick up your copy and tell a friend.
Inside, we’ve got an exclusive tour of a private zoo of exotic animals as well as the cars, homes and knowledge that no other magazine can bring.
Last night we got together for Qais’ Bday dinner and it should have come as no surprise that Chris was L8DBACK as fuck. We didn’t see his last text message that dinner had been moved back so we showed up at Flemming’s at 6pm and everyone else got there at 8pm so we spent two hours sippin’ sludge at Starbucks across the street.
I didn’t snap pics during dinner but we spent the entire time talking about cars, cars, upgrades, mods, cars and more cars. We also talked about business, future plans, events as well as the grandmaster plan that’s going to kick off soon…and once it happens it’ll definitely shake things up and have many kickin’ themselves in the ass.

As a kid there was always that one toy that we all wanted – but could never get. For some it was a Casio calculator watch and for others a BMX bike but now that companies are introducing products that fill that void – and bring us back to our childhood – it’s got people running amuck and BMX bikes are a perfect example.
With new releases from The Hundreds, Crooks & Castles, RVCA and many other companies, everyone’s been busting out BMX bikes both old and new and while some would be happy with the Crooks BMX pictures above, this one is about to go under then knife for a full custom revamp and with a starting price of $750 it’s not really a cheap hobby. LOL. I’ll have pics of this bike and more once they’re all done….
With that said, I think we’re starting a BMX club and we’re calling ourselves, The CAI Crew. CAI standing for Couldn’t Afford It….but now we can. LOL.

The Italian exotic automaker recently updated its flagship 599 GTB Fiorano supercar with the Handling GT Evoluzione package and took its dynamic performance to another level. But for the Chinese market, Ferrari unveiled a limited run of 12 special editions, with unique design touches carried out by Chinese artist Lu Hao. And of those 12, one has been made even rarer. On a side note, the last photo shoot we did in China looked like it was done in Chinatown off of Broadway down here in L.A.?! Hint hint…..now this looks like it was done in China. LMFAO.

The artist has taken this solitary example and hand painted a greenish pearl white pattern reminiscent of the coveted Ge Liln porcelain of the Song dynasty. It’s the only one of its kind to be made, and will be auctioned off for charity at a special event to be held in Beijing on November 3, where one collector/benefactor will drive away in this most special of special editions.

Serg, John & James holdin’ it down for Hyevon.
Lastnight John Salangsang threw a Red Cross Fundraiser for the victims of Typhoon Ondoy and the turnout was good. Lots of old and familiar faces along with a lot of industry folks including peeps from Interad Wheels, South Bay Autohaus, BMW North America and VIP Status. Now it’s back to the shitter……’cause that pizza was good but not it’s got me bringing the Browns to the Superbowl.
