A while back we profiled a widebody Dodge Challenger that Topo created on for Cult Energy Drink and now that it’s back home it’s finally got a power plant to match. Check the flick below….
How’s that for a motor?
The motor looks mean but I wonder what kind of damage it could really do? Guess we’ll have to wait and see.
This whole BMX bike thing is getting out of hand and today I saw this Dyno GT BMX being revamped as well as James/ Anthony and Chris all who are deckin’ out their Crook’s bikes. It’ll be interesting to see how they all turn out and I’ve got some goodies on order for mine as well.
James’ went super ill on his bike and had his Crooks & Castles 26-inch Flyer stripped down and black chromed by Top Stitch. Not only was the frame done in black chrome but also the bolts and all misc metal pieces. I’ll have more on this custom build when it’s done…..and yes…..it’ll have all leather reupholstered pads.
If you’re an old school fool that was into SSR’s and Hondas from way back in the day then I’m sure you’ll appreciate these clean ass SSR Defi wheels. I saw these on a Honda Accord and had to snap a flick
The M-Fest Shoe and the Prince’s race seat which was themed in a similar fashion.
Regardless of where you live or what your surrounded by there’s always room to be inspired. Whether it be something as simple as the design of a shoe inspiring your interior revamp or your buddies ‘31 giving you the urge to draw, just take a look around ’cause there’s something that should get you up and moving….or at least thinking.
It’s time to rally the troops and get things in order for the magazine everyone loves to hate: The Ultimate Wheel Guide. It’s the one magazine that others have tried miserably to duplicate and the one magazine that consistently gives everyone involved a big ol’ fuckin headache. It’s not to say that we’re not proud of what gets published every year but it never fails to comes with a complimentary migraine. Next years issue is coming back stronger than ever so don’t miss out on either buying it or advertising your wheel company. Drop date: March 2010.
Now that the BMX bug has spread, Kieth got to work and dug up his early 80’s Mongoose Pro. He found the trashed beast in the back of his shed and while it looked like it was in a state of disrepair he went at it with a ton of SOS pads, a grinder, polisher and enough chemicals to make you have retarded babies. But now that the frame is fully polished and NOS stickers are on order it’ll be a matter of weeks before this vintage BMX is back on the streets pushin’ pavement.
The fellas over at Interad are about to drop a few new wheel designs and the one pictured here is their modern day interpretation of that classic mesh design that’s aggressive enough to bolt up to the Lambo and elegant enough to still rock on the new 7 Series. Get up on game check their fresh.
This doesn’t look like your typical Porsche Cayman and that’s because it’s got a custom widebody treatment that borrows a few of the lines off of the infamous Carrera GT. It’s gonna be a beast once it’s done and we’ll have more pics and updates shortly. Once complete this brute beast should also be sp0rting some power upgrades that’ll mate up to it’s aggressive looks.
The rear tire is already wrapped with saran wrap to keep it fresh.
Lastnight I got a gift from the family and once I saw the box I knew it was a BMX – I just didn’t know which one it was . I was thrown off because when we got to my sisters office what I first saw was a huge card board with a Raleigh logo but once we got it back home I found out that it was stuffed with an SE BIKES x THE HUNDREDS PK RIPPER collabo! With only 300 made, I got number 282 and this thing is so dope that I’m probably not going to even ride it. On the real…..I think I’ll get another PK Ripper to ride. Ha ha ha…..this one’ll probably just stay posted inside the house….
It was a trip because opening up the box made me feel like a kid again. As a youngster I had always wanted a PK Ripper and ended up with a BMX from Canadian Tire (Canada’s equivalent to Pep Boys) and this let me to eventually steal a Mongoose…which was later stolen from me
and this is when I first learned that Karma’s a bitch.
For most, the end of October is spent wondering what Halloween party they’re going to and what costume to wear, but for those in the automotive industry it’s a time where you spend every last day getting ready for SEMA. Right now, shops (at least the good ones) are packed with work, people are ansty and this is truly a time where friends and industry colleagues either pull through in a major way – or drop the ball miserably. I know of a few cars going in today for full color changes, others patiently waiting to finish off major engine work and let’s not mention the cars with problems – like missing parts and those waiting under the grace of UPS for packages to come. LOL.
Last year at the Ford Booth.
But we do it consistently every year and the only thing that changes are the vehicular platforms. The hustle never stops, the players stay pretty much the same and we do it because it’s in our blood. For the past few weeks I’ve been checking on some of the beasts that we have headed out to SEMA and with so many cars at that particular show it’s easy to get lost but I’ll tell you this much. The cars that we have reppin out there are the shit. These just ain’t no pretty bitches…….they’re bad bitches inside and out. See you all next week.
I snapped this pic over at the homie E’s pad and as soon as my dogs run away (once I leave the gates open) I’m going to get my ass a French Bulldog. LOL…I’m just playin’….but seriously….this dog is a must have and a bad ass mofo.
