Police escort to the freeway?

Saturday morning was the first time in a while we ran into a cop that was actually damn cool. We were lost, made an illegal turn and got lit up but this time around he was cool as fuck and said, “That car’s too nice and I knew you guys were lost so follow me and I’ll get you to the fwy.” Pretty good shit.

On Friday night we shot on over to the outskirts of L.A. to shoot the next cover for Heavy Hitters and this time around we flipped the script and tried something new. Details to come as soon as the latest issue drops.

Here’s a few shots you won’t see in the magazine. So why won’t you see ‘em? It’s either because we didn’t have enough room and some won’t be included because of the obvious. LOL.

Fuckin’ Sam. LMFAO.

Sorry for the lack of updates. It’s been a crazy week and today I’ve been running around all morning. I just got back in from SPP in Placentia, then shot over to Covina and now I’m off to Pasadena to meet someone else. Luckily my laptop is hooked up wirelessly to my Blackberry so I’ve been able to update on the go – now I just have remember to keep charging my camera batteries. More pics to come later and the car should be done by the end of today as well – hopefully. Also……tonight we’re shooting a fleet of exotic cars in Bel Air and if all turns out right it should be pretty sick. On another note if  you are one of the cars participating then you need to be there on time or the you’ll be left out and trust me that’s a guarantee. Gates lock at 9….not 9:01.

In issue 13 of Heavy Hitters Magazine we’ve got plenty in store including this guys garage that’ll make you flip. I just got back in from knocking out the interview and took a short video clip of what has to be the sickest garage yet. It not only has the room to hold just a part of his collection of cars but also the space for some big boy toys as well as a $150,000+ train set.

You gotta love the quote on the 935 Moby Dick poster. It’s a fitting piece for all the biters, haters and low key emulators, “There are leaders and there are followers. Life is really quite simple, isn’t it?”

Passed by Inkface and Shamrock Tattoo a few nights ago and some of the usual suspects were posted as usual. It seems like there’s something always going down at the shop and even better is the fact that there’s a huge wall on the west side of Face’s shop that’ll soon become legendary (and a work of art) if all works well.

Whuuu? A Redline bmx. Oh yeahhh.

Saw this piece over at Mark Mahoney’s and the quote on the painting is straight sick……”Better to live a day as a lion than a lifetime as a lamb.”George and Gevo….you guys need to cop this piece.

Check the floor matt.

So a new set of wheels are coming in shortly but in the meantime I had my Collectizone DD4R’s painted by Jesus over at LAX Wheel Refinishing. The faces were done in matte black, the windows left chrome and the lips painted gloss black with a silver pearl (which you can only tell when you get up close). Came out pretty sick. Next up….the interior’s been gutted and Anthony’s working his magic. Pics coming soon.

Finishing off one more section to a shoot we already did but this time around our featured guest brought out another car and it’s parked at his office. Today’s gonna be a bitch ’cause it’s hot and I’ll be spending most of the day outdoors so Ill probably come back looking dark as all hell. LOL……updates to come later today. As for Issue 12…..it’s a wrap!

If you’ve been following the magazine then you already know who this guy is.

The homie Face was featured in a previous issue of Heavy Hitters Magazine and he’s not only created a name for himself but also a strong and loyal following. When we first featured him he was working at another studio and doing pretty damn good for himself but after a little hiccup, he’s moved up, and moved over to open up his own shop called Inkface Tattoos.

What’s crazy is that I’ve seen his shop go from a simple idea to a full blown reality in just a few months and even better is that this entire project was paid for with pure hustle and all cash. No debts, no creditors. It’s only been opened up for a few months and if you ask me they should have called his shop the Icebox because this is where everyone comes to chill – and get tattoos. LOL.

If you’re in or around town then be sure to check him out at:

We’re going to The Oinkster and what sucks is the other oinkster is ditching us for the gym. Dude…you look fine. Trust me. LMFAO.

Last night Old Town Pasadena wasn’t ready for the fleet of cars that lined the front of Mi Piace. On display was a Bugatti Veyron, the Lamborghini SV LP670-4, the Ferrari F430 Scuderia and plenty of other European supercars assembled by Tim over at O’Gara Coach. As always it was good to see all the familiar faces, the L4P fam representing as well as everyone else in attendance.

Carter was out as usual reppin’ the double H & L4P and when you see what he’s got planned for the Scud you’re gonna flip.

LOL….someone got a new ride…..and a new ticket.

The best thing about getting pulled over – for most anyone that doesnt wear a suit – are the stupid fuckin’ questions that most police seem to ask.

Why do you have this car?

Where do you work?

What are you doing out at this time?

Why are you carrying so much money?

But even better are the stupid answers they get for the stupid questions they ask……

I have this car because I can afford it.

I work somewhere that can afford me the car.

I’m out driving on the street. Just like you before you pulled me over.

I carry a lot of money because I eat a lot.
