Viper sittin’ up at SWR.
Being sick for the past few days set me back a mountain of work and now it’s time to play catch up so the morning started off with a dose of Amoxicillin followed by answering a gang of emails. I’m getting back to everyone slowly but it’s been kinda tough since I’m still operating in ‘tard mode – probably from all the Thera-Flu and NyQuill I took. LOL.
Staring off the morning talking to Mike (M2) to let him know that we’ll be bringin’ out some heat to a local event that he’s puttin down @ the Irwindale Speedway (details to come). From there…jumped on a conference call with the homie Troy. He’s going to be holdin’ down the double H over in Texas for a high speed, high horsepower run that goes down this weekend and you already that the boys are bringin’ out the heavy artillery: Twin Turbo Camaro – Check. A few blown Duallys – check.

Ray Ray with his infamous, “Don’t make me wild out!” look. This comes about 2.5 seconds before he lifts his fists violently in the air and screams out, “I ain’t scared to share these mofos. I throw ‘em fo free!”
From there it was off to SWR to shoot the shit with Ray Ray, Vince and Wilbur. The one thing I love about going to SWR is that Ray’s always got some shit cookin – literally – and this time around he had some “black food” that looked good but had my guts twisted hours later. Seriously Ray…..today the food was good but all that grease had me blowing ass chunks that looked like two day old wheat cream mixed with oysters. Regardless it was good to see some of the OG’s in action.

Haven’t seen Wilbur in ages but if everything works according to plan we’ll be launching a sick ass collabo that takes things over the top in Taiwan. Details to come because we wouldn’t want to leak any ideas yet…..now would we? LOL.
Wilbur also talked up a storm about some industry heads that have recently taken a turn for the worse and this guy had me laughing so hard I almost pissed myslef – eventhough I think I made a few sunshine dots on my boxers. Ha ha ha….What was crazy about the whole conversation is that it revolved around the theme of my next editors letter which is all about building bridges and never destroying them. Seriously people…..my boy P put it best when he said that, “Long term players don’t burn bridges” and now that there’s some former big dogs in the wheel biz walking with their tails between their legs it’s got them looking like assholes. My advice to them? Lift your skirts and air your balls out and hopefully you learned your lessons.
So by 3pm, two more calls turned into additional booth space at an upcoming show in San Diego as well as a spot in Poker Run in Reno. It’s funny…at a few months ago, we decided to go full steam and when you’ve got a great network of people around you nothing is impossible – regardless if you have the money to do it or not – and when little or no money is involved and the main factor is mutual respect then it’s not longer called hustle….it’s called heart. To be honest it’s days like this that prove that efficiency, solid relationships and a good network can produce the most amazing results in hours instead of days. I’m blessed to have all these soldiers on my team.

Topo’s newest creation getting dropped off for paint.
With that said….we shot to George’s to knock out the final edits for two more videos that we’ll be releasing soon and all I gotta says is the new shit is bananas. Okay….sorry….right now I’ve got a major case of diarrhea of the hands (probably from my Monster Energy drink high) but the night didn’t even end here. In between checking on some project cars that we’ll be debuting at the LX Festival this weekend we also got confirmation from my boy Andy who’s coming down from Frisco to represent so if you’re in or around down this weekend be sure to come by the Heavy Hitters booth to say what’s up – and bring donuts while you’re at it. LOL.

Gettin prepped for that Platinum VIP finish.

Topo’s new supercharger breathing through a K&N filter. Sorry I didn’t get back to you Lucio……but don’t trip we’re still reppin’ K&N.

This shot was taken at 10pm and they’re pulling a second all-nighter in a row.
So tomorrow we’re going over some plans with Ralph over at RMD and all I gotta say that this dude is solid and more than just passionate about his work. When it comes to business, Ralph is more worried about the end result than he is about the money up front and again…..he’s further proof that there are good people left in this world.

DTG takin’ it to a whole different level. I think Mark would consider this 300C Hella Flush approved. This is anohter front shot of the front wheel.
