This morning I shot over to a local Lexus meet with the boys from Platinum VIP and it was colder than a witches titty. The event, which was organized by Club Lexus had a cool turnout and I found some really good shots on their forum so I had to borrow ‘em. LOL.  To make the event that much more entertaining Oscar tried to pull his enclosed trailer into the parking structure and peeled the front part of the roof off like a corn beef can – because he was above the height limitation. LOL….I know I shouldn’t laugh but it was pretty f*ckin’ funny. Sorry man. Group shot (above) by MrHappi.

Part of the squad.

Javi’s GS is always bangin’ and killing ‘em with cleanliness.

I just got back in from a day of running errands and taking care of shit and I’m beat and feel like crap so I’m gonna throw down some Thera-Flu and wake up fresh – I hope. I totally missed out on a dope ass Christmas Party that my boy P was hosting tonight but I already know he turned the damn thing out. Speaking of P, here’s a recent write up he just got in the L.A. Weekly for the triple-threat event showing he just put on. Congrats again.

After reading the article, I was more than happy that he received the credit he deserved while also humbled to have shared the same gallery space as Jim Brown. Seriously, I’m blessed and honored to have been given the opportunity to curate my own show at the spot and I’m thankful for everything, so big ups again to P for giving me the chance and to Soo Jin for all the advice.

Archives: Patrick struttin’ to his Versace Edition Lambo (1 of 3) aka “the Batmobile” at last year’s John Varvato’s Charity Auction.

All I gotta say now is my boy Patrick got the skillz to do more than just pay the bills and once he’s fully recovered it’s on and if you’re looking to compete then you’d better bring your A-game and realize that if you wanna hang with the big dogs then you’d better stop peeing like a puppy. LOL…..I’m out.

I went by Joe Ray’s office a few days ago and the latest issue of Lowrider Magazine (Feb. 2009) was sitting on his desk. We talked about the changes that are coming up as well as his vision for the mag and let’s just say that he’s one of the few proactive editors out there that really cares about the scene as well as the mag so be on the lookout for some good stuff.

Employee apprecation day. Let ‘em know they’re number one.

My office has a pane of glass to the left of the door and at first I thought it was cool till everyone started peeking in. After a while it started to feel a lot like I was living in a bubble or an aquarium so about two months ago I blocked off the center portion of the glass with a banner of HH covers and marketing material. It was funny because if anyone wanted to see if I was there they’d have to bend over to look under the banner of goods until now.

I don’t know when this happend but apparently Rudy (the Associate Publisher) got tired of having to bend over so to see if I was in so he cut out the damn grill on the Range Rover and Ididnt even notice.

The cutaway.

Rudy – the man responsible for  cutting out the grill and also the one who caught me digging knee dip into my nostrils. LOL.

California Highway Patrol and police officers responding to a 3:25 a.m. shots-fired call discovered the bullet-riddled Bentley (with DREAM plates) stopped on the freeway near the eastbound Interstate 10 connector.

Yayeaah! This is what happens when you drink too much.

This is what happens when you drink way too much! But I do have one question David. How old are you homie? Most people stop sucking their thumb when they’re toddlers. Right? LOL. Pay backs a bitch huh?

A few more of the culprits involved in what turned out to be the world’s most fucked up joke (on me). Seriously fellas…..payback’s a mofo and it’s gonna be fun. LOL.

Last weekend I was outside raking leaves when I heard something making passes by the house and when I looked up here’s what I saw. Yup……the B-2 Spirit aka the Stealth Bomber. It’s pretty crazy to think that the government spent an estimated 2.1 billion (USD) dollars on each of these back in 1997 and according to my neighbor (who works for the U.S. Government) he says that they traded technology with the aliens to get this beast. Whether it’s true or not is beyond me but I do believe in the words of former President Harry Truman when he said, “The only thing new in the world is the history you don’t know.”

OK…so I’m finally back up and running after having a few computers go bad and I’ve finally “borrowed” all the programs I need to get things going. This week is all about deadlines, deadlines, deadlines, but if you think I’m trippin’ then think again. It’s been an interesting week filled with nothing but good times, stress and funny TV shows but amidst all the chaos who cares if I lost a bunch of information, post-processed photos and articles that were already done? I’m used to working under stress and I got this. By next week I’ll be wrapping up the another issue of Heavy Hitters as well as putting the final touches on the 2009 Ultimate Wheel and Tire Guide.

I was just talking about the new dependency on technology a few weeks ago and now find myself a victim to it. Two weeks ago the HD on my Mac failed and now my Dell XP just took a dump. Luckily, I’ve got a third unit – a Power Book so I’m doing updates on here for now. Let’s see…losing the HD on the Mac set me back a few photoshoots and the XP had all the pics from the last week or so. It’ll be some time before I get them up and running and the funny this is that I got my Terabyte HD the same day the XP failed – so much for backing things up.

The next issue is at print right now so hang tight as it’ll be only a few weeks before it hits newsstands. As many of you already know the past few weeks has brought the demise of thousands of jobs as well as a few of your favorite magazines (Traction, Modified Luxury & Exotics) but fortunatley HH is good so be on the lookout because we’re making some changes.

There’s no doubt that the times are tough but it’s during these periods that you can’t get caught up in the hoopla of the media. The bottom line is that we’re all in it together so rather than focus on the negative, concentrate on paying your bills and weathering the storm. Even during the toughest of times there’s still plenty of people making money but now you just need to hustle harder, spend within your means – and above all else STOP COMPLAINING. On that note….stack your chips, filter what you mind sees and get all the crumbs you can because “crumbs make a cake.”

Check out this murdered out Rolls Royce Phantom. It used to be silver but now it's been redone black on black.

From the front grill, to the Spirit of Ecstasy emblem, nothing was left untouched – except the headlights and tailights. All interior work was done by Anthony over at Top Stitch.

Pacman celebrates after using De la Hoya as a punching bag. Eventhough I don't like De La Hoya I do have to admit that he held himself like a champ at the end of the fight.

The season of giving is here and there's no better way to do it then by having friends and family all pitch in which is why So Cal Lx put together a toy drive in conjunction with the Toys for Tots Charity. The meet was held in Huntington Beach and over a 100 Dodge and Chrysler vehicles were on hand to bring their best.

This Chrysler 300C was no joke and tuckin' a mean 6-inch lip out back. I havent been a fan of full face wheels but this one here from Kartier Wheels was the shit. Unfortunately I couldnt take a profile shot because the car was sandwiched in.

This motor was a beast and enough to make suckers run for cover. LOL.

Brains blown out. This car was pretty sick but the Lambo doors gotta go – personally I can't wait till this trend dies.

Made out of paint and fiberglass, this huge black widow measures in at 180 x 180 x 120 inches. The creature is currently sitting in Patrick Painter's booth at the Art Basel in Miami Beach – the most important art show in the United States. The show is also a cultural and social highlight for the Americas and I was also happy to find out that my boy P hurt major feelings when he took in record sales that had just about every art dealer wondering how he does it. Congrats on killing the game. Thanks for the pic Newsom.

I've got three computers and over the past two weeks it's become quite apparent that two of them are becoming obsolete dinosaurs and complete junk. One's gotta bad hard drive and the other is acting up more than my ex and now I've got to transfer everything to the third. I really don't know what I'd do without all the technology in life and if anything, I think it's made us all dependent as well as antsy and impatient. Nowadays, everything is at your hands at the click of a button and once it goes down it seems like you're life gets thrown into slow motion. So enough of my ramble, here's a few pics from last weeks shoot. Again, to keep things fresh I decided to blur out the good stuff.

dsc00348.JPG

I've known Andy for quite a while and if there's anything that I always remember from the guys it's one of two things: 1) His shoes 2) or his infamous line, "What a Jerk!"

Ohhh Weee! Check those shoes! You already know  you gotta be confident to rock a pair of elf shoes – especially in white.  (more…)

See the full feature on this widebody Dodge Challenger in the next issue of Heavy Hitters Magazine which drops on newsstands nationwide in a few weeks. Check the last verse on the video …."No I'm never basic, I let my money talk for me I ain't gotta say sh*t."

When you make a few hundred million dollars a year and your name is Christian Audigier you can definitely afford to have an office like this. Located inside his L.A. headquarters, his office is home to lots of fun artifacts while his wall is a literal time capsule of his journey to the top. He's got a picture with just about every A-list celebirty in the world and when you're on a first name basis with Madonna and Michael Jackson then you already know that he's got it going on. Enjoy the pics.

To avoid ruining the full feature that's coming out soon, I decided to upload only a few teaser shots from yesterdays get together. Even better is the fact that these two teens were born Heavy Hitters and while they're not ashamed of their wealth they're also very humble and sincere – and nowadays that's very, very rare…especially in L.A.

dsc02541.JPG

This isn't a duplicate shot. It's actually the hood ornament from one of two Maybach 57S's.

dsc02542.JPG

Drophead or Phantom? Can you figure it out? At the time of the shoot this Rolls Royce (as well as the black Maybach 57S) were only a week old.

A few of the other toys from the collection.

dsc02536.JPG

Ahh yeah. I can't ruin the surprise but eventhough you think you know what it is, it's far different from what you're expecting and you'll see it all in an upcoming issue of Heavy Hitters Magazine.
