A few weeks back we told you about the Pussy Cat Dolls video shoot and the video finally dropped so here it is. The copy on here is a bit blurry but if you go to the actual youtube link you can watch it in HIGH QUALITY MODE.

A special thanks goes out to Top Flight Topo and Joel Garcia for holding us down and representing at the shoot.
Since Greg's office is located inside the Superco Customs facility we decided to see what Trevelen was up to. Here's a flick of his waiting room.
Sick ass Usugrow deck.
This used to belong to Bronson who was tragically killed back in '02 in Laughlin. R.I.P. Bronson.
By now most of you are familiar with Greg. Yes…that Greg. The Greg that isn't afraid to start shit with anyone he photographs. I remember years back when Greg punked Busta Rhymes and even better is when he made Paul Pierce wait a half hour to shoot because Paul showed up a half hour late. LOL….great shit. It's always entertaining to meet up with Greg and today was no different. Here's a few flicks.
In this picture he's all there…..
In this one here….not so much.
Stomper the guard dog of the shop.

Julian from Lanyardz.com is a high-energy kat that'll have you bustin' up all day long. He's that dude that's always willing to lend a helping hand and in all honesty he reminds me of a modern day swashbuckler minus the tight pants and vest. LOL.
Julian introduces us to his new friend and explains how height has become a problem when it comes to penetration – we recommended a pair of KISS boots for added height.
The new Heavy Hittters Magazine lanyards being modeled by the Red Eye Rabbi.
If you've got money to burn and can care less about high-gas prices then why not truck around in a behemoth ride like this one here. This 3500HD Silverado is laid out on the floor and if this doesn't snap necks and get your blood pumpin' then I don't know what will. This is on that "big-boy-toy" type of level and I'm not mad at him because dumped diesel trucks is coming to a city near you.
Edgar was one of the feature photographers at today's SHOOT N BURN show and here he is posted up with his daughter Jade, along with his sister and her husband. Edgar's not only a feature photographer for Heavy Hitters Magazine but also the only photographer on the Lowrider staff that isn't always making excuses for lackluster work. Wait a minute…did I just say that? You damn right I did. LOL.
As a gift, Edgar got his sister and her husband micro-tattoo's on their fingers. Check out the detail.

Lastnight, WCC (West Coast Customs) held a launch party with RBM Marketing and Ford to celebrate the new Ford Flex. Complete with open bar, a showcase of vehicles and finger foods galore the turnout was good but the displays unlike anything we would have ever expected. Here's a few snaps and look for more coverage in a future issue of Heavy Hitters Magazine.
The entrance.
If you've never been to the new West Coast Customs, then you'd probably trip. Their new spot is pretty fuckin' sick – and last night was also pretty damn cold as you can tell from the pic. LOL.
Xzibit (whom we were surprised to see at a WCC event!) and Ralph – the man behind some of the sickest marketing campaigns in the nation. Be on the lookout for him. (more…)
Here's a concept cover we did for the issue that's about to hit newsstands and while it's not too far off from what we ended up going with I'm sure you'll see the difference. We try to outdo each and every issue and essentially we are our biggest competitors. We want to make sure we give you the best package possible and aside from original and unique content we're looking to kick our own asses when it comes to design, editorial and presentation.

Of course, none of this would have been possible without the kick ass design team I have so I have to say thanks to Katia as well as Ti, Alan and Cheeba for puttin' up with my shit. Oh yeah…and you're welcome – because sometimes I have to put up with your shit too. LOL.

Here's a few shots of an upcoming feature on Gurveer Patttar and his bad ass '66 Cobra. Wanna know what he does? As well as what other cars he's got? Then pick up issue number 4 of Heavy Hitters and find out all that and much more. See his thoughts on money, cars, the authorities as well as the business he's in.

We can show you what his favorite magazine is though. LOL.

Here's a page out of Kanye West's book, Thank You and You're Welcome!
Written in collaboration with co-author J. Sakiya Sandifer, Thank You is, according to Kanye's blog, "an entertaining volume of 'Kanye-isms'– the creative, humorous, and insightful philosophies and anecdotes used in creating my path to success."
This page speaks volumes about the road to success and sadly enough its true. Once success becomes evident, haters always seem to come out of the woodwork to try and downplay your accomplishments or antagonize your progress. Regardless, you can't fight 'em all so…..love your haters.

Topo wearing Chick Hearn's 2001 Los Angeles Lakers Championship ring.
This the real deal and the ring is legit and certified. It's up for sale and comes complete with all documents of authenticity and appropriate paperwork. These photos were sent over to me but I'll snap some more at the end of the week and post them up. Stay tuned. I'm back off to bed to spit up lung oysters.
The first bound copies of issue 4 just came in today so they'll be hitting newsstands nationwide within the next few weeks. Don't get caught slippin'.
Sticky Rick just sent over another batch of decals today and if you're in the market for stickers then look no further. He's a solid dude that stays true to his word and in this day and age that's definitely a rare commodity. We spoke a few weeks ago about doing business during tough times and I'm a firm believer that only businesses built on good relationships will make it through. (more…)
Olvera Street is the birthplace of the City of Los Angeles and also known as the El Pueblo Historic Monument. The colorful village features 27 historic buildings with a traditional Mexican style plaza area and today the marketplace famous for holding on to its Hispanic roots was the focal point of the Old Memories CC lowrider show.
If you ever get the chance to head down to Olvera Street be sure to check out El Ranche Grande for some grub.
Marley getting ready to get his grub on.
The first round of taquitos.
….and no meal would be complete without the potato tacos.
The show was twice as big as last years and if you're not up on your history of the event then we'll fill you in. Old Memories tried for years to throw a show at this location with no luck until they happened to meet one of the property owners. When one of the club members, Tommy Garcia, known as "The Godfather," stepped in that things begin to change. Tommy and his wife, Virginia, were visiting a friend in Olvera Street one day and were introduced to Bill and John, property owners and part of the Olvera Street committee. After many talks and several legal issues were resolved (including numerous permits, traffic enforcement, LAPD officers and security, etc.), along with assurances that cardboard slip sheets would be placed under each car so that no oil stains would damage the pavement, Old Memories received the okay to proceed with the event.
I wrote about this camera months ago on my blog and I got it yesterday as a gift (Thanks Stacey!) Among the short list of options on the W300 is a high speed shutter, 13.6 mp, titanium coated, face detection, smile shutter, high sensitivity 6400 ISO and of course the Carl Zeiss lens. This camera will finally retire my Sony DSC-N1 that has that bullshit green streak that you're always seeing in the pics so check back in. I'm out to Olvera Street to snap a few.
In issue one of Heavy Hitters we featured a one-off Range Rover Sport that was chopped down into a two-door coupe. The project was done by the fellas over at West Coast Customs for a client in Dubai and now it looks like it's up for sale on AutoTrader. The custom Range is being sold off for half-a-million dollars.

When we originally featured the Range it was orange so this one here is either another one of three ever made or it was reshot in white. To be frank, it looks much better in white and for those wondering….it's called the Range Stormer because that's where the build up was based off of. The Range Stormer was a concept vehicle that Range Rover had released a few years back.

The original Range Stormer concept.
