Lastnight was the grand opening for two shows with Julius Friedman (Make it Rain) and Simon Bill (The Loved One). Both shows will run from June 8th through July 31st at the Bergamot Station in Santa Monica, CA so be sure to scope it out.
Julius' audio/ visual presentation had guests engaged and in focus. This is his first showing and also the birth of what is sure to become a great career. Congratulations.
Here's a few quotes from the press release that best explains "Make it Rain"….
"Friedman brings an energetic view of the auction world by composing an original score of music that shifts from classical symphonic notes into the juxtaposition of throbbing drum and bass. The music swirls around and dances with the subject of the film, illustrious auctioneer Simone de Pury."
Make it Rain: Drawing from this vivid idea of money floating, Friedman creates a playful comedic perspective revealing both the performance aspect of auctions and the sincere quality of a figure like de Pury, one of the signature rainmakers in the world of art." Patrick Painter Gallery.

This Acura NSX shows you exactly what happens when you mix hallucinogenic drugs with hip hop and rice.
Wow. Remember Magnum P.I. and his Ferrari 308? I remember when this car was cool. It was around the same time that my Dolphin shorts were still in style. LOL.
Trip on this…on the way up to AZ we saw this purple Mercedes Benz SLR convertible being transported. It looks blue in the picture but it's a deep purple.
Just in case you haven't been following the drama. Ice-T and Soulja Boy have been beefing and now Ice-T is putting his two-cents in and he's got lots to say. Ooooohhh weee!
We left to Havasu yesterday and if you think it's been hot in L.A. then think again. It was 115 degrees over here.
On the way up we say this truck hauling some Donk tires. LOL.
It was pretty weird to see HH stickers on what looked like 20 consecutive reflector poles so we had to pull over and shoot a pic of at least one. Thanks to whoever put in work….because Lord knows it wasn't us because at 115 degrees it was hard enough to take this picture.
Without giving up too much of what's coming out in a future issue of Heavy Hitters let's just say that someone brought out some big boy toys. (more…)
