19 skydivers had three minutes and 20 seconds to spell out the word Honda, inspired by the car manufacturer's new advertising strapline: "Difficult is worth doing".Organisers were yesterday hoping the weather in Spain would hold as the team practised. "There will be no time delay and no CGI [computer-generated imagery]. If it works, people will know who it's for. If it doesn't, they won't," said Ian Armstrong, Honda's manager of customer communications.
The stunt is a means of gaining publicity for Honda's new multi-million pound ad campaign, which features 45 skydivers promoting the Honda Accord by creating a series of shapes over the Mojave desert to reflect new features on the car.
Here's a few renderings of what is rumored to become the 2010 Dodge Charger. Why they didn't introduce the vehicle like this in the first place is beyond me but I'll put my money on the fact that the homie Topo will end up making this far before Dodge even makes a decision to make a move. The Majestics Car Club fund raiser went down yesterday at Elysian Park and the weather was perfect. In the morning the clouds rolled in and and the weather looked a bit unruly but in the end all it was all good…not too hot, not too cold and not a drop of rain fell. Hundreds came out to support the event and show Smiley some love and there was a bit of everything at the gathering including a few high end luxury rides, SUV's and motorcycles.

Smiley – the man that everyone came out to support.

The lil' homie Julian posted up besides Hustler 63. (more…)

I just found out that Majestics Car Club is hosting a fundraiser for the big homie Smiley this Sunday May 25th at Elysian Park. The event is being held to help raise money for medicine and treatment for Smiley (due to kidney failure) so if you can make it down then please do so.
If you're into the lowrider scene or follow Lowrider Magazine then you're already too familiar with Smiley and his Cadillac, "The Undertaker." Smiley's been influential in creating some of the cleanest cars around and the The Undertaker is a prime example of of his work and attention to detail. Get better Smiley….your ass owes me lunch and a trip to Spearmint Rhino and you know we're GOING to go! I'll see you Sunday big dogg.
Give a guy a bit o' money and you'll see his true colors and style. Take this guy for example. This BMW 6-Series not only sports a wild and outrageous body kit but also a set of 26-inch wheels.

The picture was taken somewhere in Lithuania and you can already tell that it was designed under the direct influence of rap videos, donks, hallucogenic drugs and a bucket of bondo.

Can you recognize the exhaust tips? Here's a hint…..FabDesign.

…and I bet he thinks he's the coolest dude on the block.

Lou Pearlman, the man who created the Backstreet Boys and 'N Sync, was sentenced Wednesday to 25 years in federal prison for engineering a decades-long scam that bilked thousands of investors out of their life savings. It was the maximum sentence the boy band mogul could receive for allegedly swindling some $300 million from investors and banks since the early 1980s. He pleaded guilty in March to two counts of conspiracy and single counts of money laundering and presenting a false claim in bankruptcy court. U.S. District Judge G. Kendall Sharp noted that many victims were Pearlman's relatives, friends and retirees in their 70s or 80s who lost everything. "The sympathy factor just doesn't run very high with the court," Sharp said. However, the judge said he would reduce Pearlman's sentence by one month for every $1 million returned to investors. It wasn't clear how, or if, investors would ever be compensated. "I want to say clearly that there's no pot of gold out there," defense attorney Fletcher Peacock said. Prosecutors allege Pearlman scammed individuals out of an estimated $200 million, and banks out of another $100 million. The courtroom was packed with victims, some of whom gave emotional testimony. Another two dozen or so waited outside. "Over the past nine months since my arrest, I've come to realize the harm that's been done," Pearlman said in a short courtroom statement. "I'm truly sorry and I apologize for what's happened." Peacock said Pearlman meant to pay back all the investors, and noted he had returned about $103 million. He said Pearlman got caught up in lawsuits – also alleged fraudulent business practices – over his otherwise successful entertainment ventures in the 1990s that prevented him from returning the money.

Ahhh yes….the good ol days. Remember when a big body Benz was really a big body Benz? This was a timeless design the also the last time that Brabus was actually up on their game when it came to wheels and sizing. Speaking of Brabus, check out this S-Class fitted with gold dipped Brabus Monblock 3, two-piece wheels. Gangsta!

Here's another S-Class fitted with a set of Lowenharts.
After spotting a test mule of the car last week, Car magazine is reporting that Audi is indeed moving forward with a production version of the TT Speedster. First seen as the Clubsport Quattro concept in 2007, the Speedster is allegedly destined for the uber-rich Middle East market and is to be produced in a quantity ranging from 50 to 100 examples.
News of the production TT Speedster has come courtesy of Audi’s marketing director for the Middle East, Bernd Rosenbichler. Rosenbichler said that the new Audi will make its world debut in the region and is only planned for sale in the conveniently rain-free part of the world.

Word is that the production Speedster will stay very true to its concept counterpart, a claim that’s easy to believe given the region and clientele the car is aimed towards. Have a look at the 2007 concept in our gallery below.
